About My Plumbing Career
I have been in the plumbing business in some capacity for about seventeen years. I began working at a plumbing company first as a warehouse person, keeping the shop and service vehicles clean, organized and well stocked. The company soon had me working with the technicians who used me as a gopher and a helper, all the while teaching me their craft. After learning from several very skilled plumbers, I was put into a service vehicle of my own and sent on smaller service calls where my resourcefulness was put to the test. At about this time I realized it was imperative that I expand my knowledge of the trade, which is when I decided to attend PHCC (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors) school. This program offered me technical training that broadened my view of the mechanical and procedural side of the trade and helped me hone my skills. Skip to a few years later when a good friend, mentor and former employer offered me the opportunity to work as freelance plumber for him and several other plumbing contractors which I gladly accepted. This was a fortunate move since it afforded me the opportunity to learn from, at one point, nine different professionals and multiple approaches to the same situations. This was an invaluable period in my career since I gained on-the-job experience, learned from their successes and mistakes, and decided which methods worked best for me, all while getting paid. At 28, I finally made the decision to apply for my contractor’s license. This was about the same time that another employer (I’ll call him Bob), with nearly 50 years in the trade decided he was ready to retire. Bob had spent 30 years building his business in the Conejo Valley and needed someone he could trust to take care of his long-time customers. Thankfully, Bob had enough confidence in me to propose the idea that I purchase his business.” Again, I was all too happy to jump at this offer although, I must admit, I was concerned that I would not be able to fill his shoes. He had built an excellent reputation and had earned the trust, loyalty and respect of a large client base. It has been six years since I acquired his business, and I am very proud to say that thanks to the support of my clients, business associates, friends, family, and especially to my wife and children (for their understanding that I do it all for them), my business is flourishing. I must give credit and my thanks to my father, step-father and grandfathers who instilled in me, by way of example and verbalization, the importance of hard work, honesty, integrity and the desire to improve myself and those around me. Giving my clients the service they deserve and taking care of their needs, I’d say, is my way of helping improve the lives of others. I strive to improve the efficiency of my work and my business because I know that this is what is necessary to become your preferred plumber.
Me and My Family
My wife and I grew up in Agoura Hills and I graduated from the local high school, while she graduated from another. We have both been here almost our entire lives. Like two well-planted trees, our roots go deep in the community. In addition to being a licensed professional plumber, I am also the proud father of two wonderful children and married to an amazing woman. Here's a recent photo of the four of us.

I work hard at my plumbing business for three reasons: first, because I have always taken pride in the quality of the work I do; second, because I know that satisfied customers tend to call on me time after time; and third, because my family depends on me to "bring home the bacon."My son, Charlie, is a straight-A student at his middle school, as well as being a star soccer player for one of the top teams in the area. When his sister, Julia, started school, she immediately began "wowing" her teachers with her ability to read better than children two, three or more grades higher than her. Jessica, my lovely wife, has an excellent career in the television marketing and advertising industry, and I could not be prouder of her and her accomplishments, both as a wife and mother and as a professional. As a family, we believe in giving back to our community, as well as being a part of it. Return from
